The twenty-seventh session of the Tashkent City Council of People’s Deputies was held

At the twenty-seventh session of the Tashkent City Council of People’s Deputies, a number of important issues related to the socio-economic development of the capital, urban infrastructure, public transport, employment, investments and the interests of the population were considered.

The following issues were included in the agenda of the session:
— approval of the “road maps” developed to mobilise additional reserves and opportunities;
— discussion of the issue of setting the public transport fare tariff;
— the state of ensuring the implementation of the Law “On Conflict of Interests”;
— consideration of projects for the installation of outdoor advertising and information facilities;
— naming and renaming of structural parts of certain settlements;
— approval of the targeted list of public-private partnership projects;
— the state of credit allocation within the framework of state programmes, their effective and targeted use, and the commissioning of projects;
— optimisation of imports and stimulation of local production;
— consideration of investment projects involving international financial institutions and organisations;
— work carried out in the vocational education system;
— the state of unemployment and employment in Tashkent City, in particular, ensuring the employment of persons released from penitentiary institutions;
— recognition of rights to arbitrarily occupied land plots and the buildings and structures erected on them.

✔️Relevant information and reports on the agenda items were heard and discussed by the deputies.

▫️During the discussions, opinions were expressed regarding existing problems and shortcomings in the sectors, and attention was paid to eliminating them and increasing the effectiveness of work in the relevant areas.
