A reporting meeting on executive discipline and the implementation of assignments was held at the Tashkent City Hokimiyat

A reporting meeting dedicated to ensuring the implementation of legislative documents, assignments of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government, strengthening executive discipline, as well as the results of the work being carried out in this area, was held at the Tashkent City Hokimiyat.

At the meeting it was noted that as of 24 September of this year, a total of 17,188 assignments had been received by the Tashkent City Hokimiyat through the electronic system “edo.ijro.uz”. Of these, 14,668, or 85.4 percent, have been fulfilled, while the remaining 2,520 assignments have deadlines for implementation, and work to ensure their timely fulfilment is continuing.

In addition, the implementation of assignments given in September by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Head of the Presidential Administration and the Cabinet of Ministers was analysed separately.
During the discussions, along with the results achieved, delays and shortcomings in the implementation of certain assignments were critically reviewed. In particular, it was noted that in September the implementation of 26 assignments was not ensured on time, and the need to eliminate their causes and strengthen the responsibility of officials was emphasised.

In order to systematically organise the implementation of assignments, work is being carried out on the basis of daily control mechanisms, calendar plans with clearly defined deadlines and responsible executors, as well as the relevant road maps.
At the end of the meeting, the relevant tasks were set for the deputy hokims, structural units and responsible managers to accelerate the implementation of assignments, eliminate existing shortcomings and further strengthen executive discipline.

As emphasised, executive discipline is not merely the fulfilment of assignments, but an important factor in ensuring the practical result of the decisions being taken and real changes in the life of the city.
